Construction of a lake house with two apartments

This little house is located by the lake in a sloping plot. The project is organized on three levels, housing on the ground floor a largely glazed apartment on the lake and a duplex upstairs. The lake side façade faces north. This led to the creation of punctual openings, such as paintings on the lake landscape. The south side, facing the mountains, is more glazed to benefit from a maximum of light. The construction is mixed wood concrete. A coating of vertically laid fir planks, of different widths and depths, gives the facades a lively appearance.
